  • First take the peeled whole shallots and cook them till they are caramelised in a pan in 1 teaspoon oil. Once they get caramelised remove from the pan and keep separately.
  • In the same pan put 1 teaspoon oil and saute garlic and ginger. Then add the chillies and the boiled potatoes.
  • Use the same pan as this would have lot of flavours left by the onions. Saute till they get a bit brownish.
  • Undercooked baby potatoes taste bitter. So cook these well. Then add the caramelised onions to the pan and mix well.
  • Then add the honey and red chilly sauce, soya sauce, salt and pepper and cook well for about 10 minutes.
  • Add the green part of spring onion and chopped coriander. It is now ready to serve.
