- Grind all the ingredients given under the list 'to grind' with enough water as bit coarse paste.
- Heat the oil in a pan,let splutters the mustard seeds, urad dal, add immediately the cubed brinjal pieces.
- Sauté for few minutes, add the grounded paste, sambar powder,tamarind extract, turmeric powder and salt.
- Mix well and cook in simmer for few minutes, stir in between until the veggies get well cooked.
