Chickpea curry in the slow cooker

1/2 cup vegetable stock

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup onions

1 clove garlic

1/2 tsp cumin seeds

1/4 tsp yellow mustard seeds

1/4 tsp ground ginger

1/4 tsp turmeric

1/2 tsp coriander

1/4 tsp garam masala

salt, to taste

1/2 cup canned diced tomatoes with juices

2 tsp lime juice

1 1/2 cup already cooked chickpeas


  • Turn slow cooker on high setting for 30 minutes.
  • Place all ingredients in slow-cooker and stir to combine chickpeas and spices.
  • Switch setting to low and cook for 4-5 hours.
