- Clean the fish and wipe it with a cloth. Cut it into small pieces.
- Ground the rest of the ingredients with vinegar and make a fine paste.
- Soak the fish in this paste. Tie the mouth of the jar with a cloth to keep it tight.
- Serves as a good side dish with khichdi or dal rice.
