Japanese asari pasta = clam pasta

Ingredients

300 g Japanese Asari/ Clams

150 g pasta noodles

3 cloves garlic, chopped

5 tablepoons olive oil

1/2 cup Japanese Sake

1 tablepoon parsley, chopped..finely

10 pieces broccoli florets

salt

pepper

chili flakes

Preparation

  • Cook Noodles as per package direction, set aside.
  • Heat pan, add olive oil and garlic. Then add sake, parsley and asari/clams.
  • Add salt, pepper and chili flakes, let it simmer until the clams shell opened (then it's cooked).
  • Add broccoli florets and simmer for a minute, remove from heat and toss it to the cooked pasta.
  • Serve hot.
