Oyster mushrooms - 2 cups

Onions - 2 nos

Tomatoes - 2 nos

Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tbsp

Chilly powder - 2 tbsp

Pepper powder - 1 tbsp

Thin coconut milk - 1/2 cup

Green chillies - 2 nos

Salt for taste

Oil for cooking


  • Grind 1 onion and 2 tomatoes to smooth paste.
  • In a wok, heat oil and stir fry finely chopped onion till it becomes golden brown.
  • Now add the ginger-garlic paste and saute for a min. Add chilly powder and give a stir.
  • Add the ground paste and saute for 5 min. Add whole mushrooms and saute for a min.
  • Now add thin coconut milk, green chillies slit lengthwise, and salt for taste. Cover and cook till its done. Serve hot with Rice, roti, chappathi.
