  • In a large skillet, heat the oil, then brown the ribs on all sides. Place the ribs in the slow cooker.
  • Layer the apples over the pork ribs. Place the sauerkraut with the liquid over the apples.
  • Sprinkle the brown sugar, garlic and onion powder, and pepper over the top. Cover and cook on high for 3 hours (or on low for 6-7 hours).
