Ingredients

Number of serving: 6
Red Dry Chilli : 1 kg

Dhaniya Seeds : 250 g (4 portion of Chilli : 1 portion of Coriander Seeds)

Channa Dhal : 100 g

Urad Dhal : 100 g

Mustard Seeds : 100 g

Methi Seeds : 50 g

Rice : 50 g

Cumin Seeds : 50 g


Curry Leaves : 1 bunch

Asafotida : 1 tea spoon (optional)

Oil : 2 table spoon

Preparation

  • Dry Roast all the above ingredients.
  • Add 1 table spoon of oil each to Dhaniya and Chillies while Roasting them.
  • Ensure that the ingredients are not browned but it should be less than golden brown in colour.
  • Put them all together and make it a fine powder.
  • If in India you can get this powdered in the flour Mill else use Coffee grinder.
  • Mixer Grinder can be used to powder however it does not make a fine powder.
