One such podi is nuvvu podi/sesame seeds toasted to golden perfection and ground with roasted red chillies and garlic.

Ingredients

Number of serving: 4
Sesame seeds - 3/4 cup

Salt - 1/2 spoon

Red chillies - 3-4

Garlic - 3-4 pods

Oil - 1/2 tablespoon

Preparation

  • Toast the sesame seeds till they turn golden brown. Set them aside.
  • Now roast the red chillies in oil for 1-2 minutes.
  • Grind the red chillies, garlic and salt together to a coarse powder.
