If you want to bake a cake, or spread some butter on a toast, but there is no grocery store open, here is a way to make your own at home!

3/4 cup whipping cream (must contain at least 30% fat)

Preparation

  • Step 1 - How to make homemade butter ?
    Put the cold cream in a bowl and whisk it, as if you were doing whipped cream.
  • Step 2 - How to make homemade butter ?
    After a while (15 minutes), the cream will start to form clots and leave a liquid.

    Strain this mix to take the liquid out, then whisk it again to take some liquid out of it again.
