Paneer Tikka Masala

To marinate
Paneer    1 cup (diced)Green Bell Pepper    3/4 cup(diced)Tomato    1/4 cup(diced)Onion      1/4 cup(diced)Thick yoghurt/Curd    2 tbsp chilli powder    1/2 tspkasoori methi   1/2 tspoil    1/2 tsp   salt   a pinch
           Take a bowl,add thick fresh curd,chilli powder,kasoori methi,oil mix well and add paneer and other vegs and mix well and marinate for 15-20 minutes.

for masala
Onion      1no. (finely chopped)Tomato puree   3/4cup(or puree of 2 fresh tomato)All purpose flour/maida   1 tspGinger Garlic paste   2 tspCumin seeds/Jeera     1/2 tspturmeric powder   a small pinchchilli powder   1/2 tspCoriander powder    1tspcumin powder   1/2 tspGaram masala   1/2 tspSalt   as neededOil   1 tbspMethod
Heat oil in a non stick kadai,add cumin seeds allow to splutter.Add  chopped onions ,sprinkle some salt and fry till golden brown.then add ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell leaves.and add maida keep stirring evenly for 2minutes.Now add the tomato puree and allow to boil for 2 minutes and add all the dry powders and keep stirringtill it become thick paste.Then add enough water (1 cup or more) and salt , mix well .This should be thin and cook covered.let it boil for sometime.Meanwhile heat a tawa and fry the marinated paneer ,bell pepper,onion and tomato lightly.then add the fried items to the boiling masala.Stir well and simmer for another 2 minutes.Now the panner tikka masala is ready to serve hot .It suits well with Naan,Roti,Pulav,chapathi and dosa also.
