Ingredients
Pineapple 1 cup(finely chopped)Peach 1/2 cup (finely chopped)Rava/Sooji 1 and 1/2 cupWater 3 cupsSugar 1 cup and 1/4 cup (adjust acc. to taste)Butter/Ghee 1/4 cupYellow food color a pinch(optional)Cashewnuts 12-15 no.sRaisins 10 no.sCardamom powder 1 and 1/2 tspAlmonds 5-7 no.s(blanched n sliced or striped)for garnishing
To make cardamom powder
Heat a pan ,when its hot add one cup of whole green cardamoms and roast lightly for few seconds and remove from the stove.Now transfer the roasted hot cardamoms to a blender and add 1/2 tsp or little more of sugar and grind everything to a smooth fine powder and collect it in an airtight container for future use.This is more flavorful and fresh when compared to store bought.
Method
Heat 2tsp of ghee in a sauce pan and roast the rava/sooji nicely till get nice aroma n light golden color and keep aside.Heat 2 tbsp of ghee/butter in a non stick vessel and roast the cashew nuts and raisins separately and keep aside.In the same vessel add another tbsp of ghee and add the chopped fruits (pineapple and peach) and fry till it turns little tender and lightly cooked.
