Thin apple pies
We all know this great classic of pastry: apple pie! This dessert has a sweet taste of childhood. We decided to decline it today in mini format to make small thin apple pies with only 4 ingredients! Follow all the steps for making these little apple sweets and don't forget to add caramel on top for maximum delicacy :-)

- 1 peeler
- 1 fork

Cook time25 min
Peel and cut the apples in half and then into thin slices.
Cut the puff pastry to form 6 rectangles. Prick the dough with a fork.
Place 1/2 apple slices on each rectangle.
Sprinkle with brown sugar and add some small pieces of butter on top.
Bake for 25 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
There you are, your thin apple pies are ready! To add extra flavors, add toppings on top like caramel for example!

Which toppings can I add?
We added caramel on top of the pies after baking. You can also sprinkle them with icing sugar, or add toasted almonds, melted chocolate, a spoonful of heavy cream, some whipped cream or even a scoop of ice cream!
How to store these pies?
Store for 3 days in an airtight container.
Can I replace apples?
You can replace the apples with other fruits such as pears or apricots for example. You can also make these thin pies with vegetables, replace the butter with olive oil and add the spices of your choice!
Can these pies be made gluten-free?
You can of course replace the puff pastry with a gluten-free puff pastry without worries!
