  • Add all of the ingredients except the caulis and oil into a mixing bowl.
    Pour enough water and stir to get a thick runny batter.
    Heat oil and when heated, dip the caulis into the batter and deep fry.
    Drain over kitchen towel to remove excess oil and serve immediately.
