  • In a small bowl mix together sugar, yeast, and water. Cover and let it rest for 5 minutes until the yeast reacts.
  • In a large bowl mix together flour, cornstarch, and salt. Add water and yeast slurry, and beat with an electric mixer until it is bubbly.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and let stand at room temperature for at least 1/2 an hour.
  • How to prepare cauliflower florets:
    Bring water to a boil. Add salt and cauliflower florets, and wait until it boils again. Remove them from heat, cover, and let them rest in the water for 5 minutes. Drain the cauliflower florets from the water. In a small bowl mix together all the spices and sprinkle over the cauliflower florets. Set aside.
  • It's frying time:
    Dunk the florets in batter, covering each floret completely, and fry in 350*F preheated oil until golden brown, approximately 3 minutes.
  • Cauliflower fritters, MSHAT, can be served as a side dish at your dinner table, as finger food at your parties, or as an appetizer with your favorite sauce.
