My Vegan Spinach-Bean Dip is a protein-packed version of its inspiration and perennial favorite: ubiquitous spinach dip, the one guest everyone hopes will be at the party.

A few years ago, wanting a "throw together" dip for my school's National Art Honor Society, of which I am the sponsor, yet wanting the students to have some late-afternoon protein, I thought of adding beans to spinach dip.

It was a huge hit and the kids still ask for it, Expect the kids at your Super Bowl gathering, both big and small, to do the same.
