Brown Butter Banana Bread Recipe
Here is another brown butter banana bread recipe. This is a bread you can enjoy with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. PREP TIME: 20 Min INGREDIENTS * 1 stick (8 tbsp, 4 ounces) butter DIRECTIONS 1. Preheat oven to 350F. 2. Spray the 9×5 inch loaf pan with flour-added cooking spray. Otherwise you can also choose to grease the pan. 3. In a medium saucepan over high melt the butter. Once it is melted lower the heat to medium and swirl the butter around the pan instead of stirring it. It will take about 5 minutes for it to brown. 4. Remove the pan from the heat and allow to cool while getting everything else ready. 5. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. 6. In another bowl whisk the eggs then add the mashed bananas, vanilla and the semi-cooled butter. 7. Add the liquid to the dry mixture. Mix just until incorporated; use maybe less then 15-20 stirs. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan. 8. Pour batter into the loaf pan and bake it for about 60 to 70 minutes. Use a toothpick or cake tester and insert in the middle. If it comes out clean your banana bread is ready. 9. Allow the loaf to cool in the loaf pan for 10 minutes before removing from the pan and allowing to cool fully on a wire rack.
