How to make butter at home - Home made butter - Vennai




Butter can be easily made at home from the cream that is obtained while boiling milk...





Ingredients:



Heavy cream formed over full cream milk:1 cup



Ice cold water:4 cups



Preparation:



Remove the cream off the top surface of the milk after boiling and cooling it...



You will get lot of cream when you boil full cream milk...



Now keep storing cream like this in an air tight container or bottle in the refrigerator...







Once you get a fair amount of it,you can make butter out of the same...



Run the cream along with ice cold water in a mixer for 2 minutes...







Butter will come to the top and you can scoop it out...



Continue to do this till all the cream is used up...



Home made butter is ready!!







You can store this butter for 3 to 4 days in the refrigerator placing in container with water...



This way butter will float on top...



You can use this butter to make cakes or home made chocolates,etc...
