Brown Sauce Pork Chops
This is another one of those mainstay dishes that has been around ever since I can remember. Mom made this dish quite often as my brothers and I loved it. We ate it with rice but it is also delicious with mashed potatoes. Here is the recipe as promised.
![]() Ro-Ri's Brown Sauce Pork Chops 1 lb boneless pork loin chops, thin cut (about 8 slices) 1 onion sliced ½ cup frozen green peas 1 tbsp soy sauce 1 tsp sugar 1 tbsp worchestershire sauce ½ tsp corn starch, add to ¼ cup water salt and pepper to taste Marinade pork chops with soy sauce, sugar and pepper for at least 30 minutes. Drain, reserve marinade. In a pan, add a little oil, brown pork chops on both sides. Remove and set aside. In the same pan, caramelize the onions. Return pork chops to pan, add reserved marinade, worchestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and ? cup water. Let cook for 5 minutes. Add frozen green peas and cook for another 5 minutes or so. Finally thicken with corn starch mixture. Enjoy..... related searches : Brown
