Dry pepper chicken
Dry pepper chicken ( Murg kali mirch ) Serves : Two Ingredients
450 g boneless chicken, legs and breasts cut into 4 cm cubes 3 onions ( small size 3 or medium size 2 ) , chopped 2 tomatoes , cubed 1 ½ teaspoon dry pepper corns , crushed 1 teaspoon ginger ? garlic paste 1 teaspoon coriander powder A few spring onion leaves, chopped 1 spring curry leaves ½ teaspoon whole garam masala ( 4 cloves, 2 cinnamon sticks and 3 cardamom ) A pinch of turmeric powder Salt to taste ½ teaspoon pepper powder for sprinkle ¼ cup water 50 ml oil Method Heat oil and fry the onions. Add tomatoes , ginger- garlic paste and the whole garam masala. Add boneless chicken cubes, curry leaves, spring onion leaves and and all the spices. Stir for a minute and let it cook . Add ¼ cup water, salt and crushed pepper corns. Cook till the chicken is done and almost dry and a thick gravy remains.
