Easter Sunday BBQ

Well, I?m officially exhausted. We had quite the busy day between setting up for our gathering and entertaining our guests. We started early this morning by setting up the backyard.

Then we had to tidy up the house , finishing prepping the side dishes and pick up the catered pork, baked beans and such for our ?Easter BBQ.? It was quite the feast! We didn?t make all of the food, as each family brought a dish to share. We made a delicious pasta salad though, one of my very favorite dishes, using delicious, crisp veggies and basil from our backyard.

We also had a  sweet, creamy broccoli salad with red onion, raisins, and bacon (YUM!),

I had a little taste of everything and it was all delicious. It was a long day but any day spent lounging in the backyard is a good day in my book.

I?m ready to crash but unfortunately I must hit the books and get ready to return to Gainesville tomorrow morning. Two weeks and I?m home free. I can?t wait to be done!!

Hope you had a happy day!
