Fall Fun at the Apple Orchard
Fall is my favorite time of the year!! I was planning on taking Amy's girls to Apple Works a local apple orchard and the fiancé was planning to be in the field harvesting soybeans. Well mother nature surprised us! It rained!!!! You are probably wondering why I sound so excited it rained, well two reasons, 1: we haven't had much rain this summer and 2: that means that the farmer wouldn't be able to work! YIPPEE!!! So, the four of us set off on an apple adventure!
One of my favorite things was the nature hike! I just love being outside! The girls made it more of a nature run and we followed behind!  The girls took a train ride by the sunflower patch and apple orchard.  We worked up an appetite! We enjoyed, caramel apples, apple cider and they were out of apple dumplings (what I was looking forward to) but they had some we could take home with us and I have been eating them ever since! Great for my wedding diet! haha! They were yummy!   While we were waiting in line to buy apples the gals found a stump and enjoyed some of the festival music.  And before we left we stopped and got some balloon bracelets!  And now I have a bushel of apples calling my name! Applesauce anyone??    related searches : Fall
