Got Resolution Need Motivation?
So here we are guys in 2010. I still haven’t gotten used to writing it, which is a bummer for my landlord with my rent check (a genuine mistake as far as he knows). That aside, the New Year already seems full of promise, hope and good energy doesn’t it? I think a lot of good things are going to happen this year and I think we’re all ready for them! If you’re like me, and many others, you’ll have made some new years resolutions. I’m sure there are the usual ones: to stop smoking, get fit, eat better, be a better friend and so on. Whatever you decide to try and do I’m sure you’ll give it a go…..for a few weeks anyway. Hey, whatever it takes to get us to try and change for the better is a good thing in my book (no matter how long we try it out) and if the start of a new year happens to be our motivation, that’s all well n’ good as it’s a good a time as any to make a change. If you work in a gym or even own one this is a good month for you! January is the month that most gym memberships are opened and Feb/March are the months you won’t see those new members for dust. Easy money! Don’t get me wrong, they all mean to go and get themselves healthy and in better shape but maybe don’t realise they actually need to go there to do it. Getting healthy and fit definitely takes time, commitment and motivation–and sometimes that’s precisely what’s lacking in new years resolutions don’t you agree? Those of you who know me and have been following my site will know that I work a lot with celeb trainer Valerie Waters. Val has been a good friend of mine for a number of years, ever since she was Cindy Crawford’s trainer and I was Cindy’s chef. She has some great fitness programs on the market, Action Hero Babe being her latest and greatest (as they say). Val asked me to create an e-cookbook specifically for this program and of course I said YES! I created this with her clients in mind so it’s full of healthy recipes that are all Valerie Waters and “AHB approved”. I even made a short video showing off the book with my awesome recipes along with my pretty face as a bonus, wink wink. Hey y’all, the Missus here– How can you go wrong with a good workout program that also includes good healthy recipes? You’re killing two birds with one stone! Feeling inspired yet? Perhaps I can convince the Missus to write about her journey here. What do you think? *Of course not to leave the guys out, they’re also creating the male version so stay tuned for that update. Whatever you decide to improve this year I hope 2010 brings lots of positivity, good health and prosperity to you and yours! Cheers! related searches : Got
