Preheat oven to 180 C/350 F. Grease loaf pan and set aside.
In a medium bowl sift the flours, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In a separate bowl add the oil, milk, egg, sugar and mashed bananas. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
Then stir this into the flour mixture until blended.
Pour into the prepared loaf pan and bake for about 55 minutes to 1 hr or until a skewer comes out clean and the cake is just firm. When ready let it cool completely on a wire rack.
Tip: Serve with butter or cream cheese.
