Homemade Meatballs
The other night, we weren't sure what we wanted for dinner. I had pulled out some frozen ground beef earlier in the day to thaw, but we weren't sure what to do with it.
We had noodles and spaghetti sauce on hand...so we decided on spaghetti, and quickly threw together some meatballs! We made homemade panko bread crumbs(super easy). recipe here And also dumped them all over the stove. The end result was worth the mess. Homemade Meatballs 1/2 pound of ground beef 2 eggs 1/2 c panko bread crumbs(or more as needed) 1 1/2 tsp dried parsley 1 1/2 tsp dried basil 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/4 tsp salt 1/2 tsp garlic 1/4 tsp parmesan cheese 1 clove of garlic 1/8 c chopped onion a dash of Worcestershire sauce Mix all ingredients together until combined. Spread olive oil thinly in the bottom of a shallow baking dish. Form the meat mixture into 1 inch balls, and place in the dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes(make sure to test before pulling them out though-cut it open and make sure there isn't any pink/red meat). Enjoy!
