Homemade Pesto Sauce
After school was released I had to stay after to talk to the professor about my absence on Monday. After I learned to talk to my TA about such matters, I enjoyed a pumpkin flax granola bar on the way home. We also stopped at the Farm Stand. I need some blueberries for some Blog Header Photo Shoots that?s happening this weekend. I bought my theme this weekend and am hoping I can upload it before the weekend, but Monday might be the day. Hang I?m so anxious, I?m ready this weekend. The Farm Stand This is the Farm Stand. We stop there at least once or twice a week to buy produce. Everything is local, mostly organic and in season. Plus you get to come face to face with a pirate, can life get any better?! Dinner Once we arrived home Max met us with an idea for Pesto Pasta dinner. I helped with the garlic, wine and dessert. Max bought a bunch of fresh basil at the farmer?s market in Monterey last night which prompted the evenings eats. I wanted wine in jars so we had Wine in Jars I was in charge of the garlic for the pesto sauce. I pushed three cloves of fresh garlic through the garlic press for the sauce. I also made the spinach and egg pasta for the Pesto Pasta. Our finished product was pretty good lookin? I?m suffering the affects of too much wine as I write this post. If my writing is a little foggy- now you know why. For dessert I made some Brown Sugar Oat Muffins, recipe coming tomorrow morning when the lightings better for pictures. Max and I split one.
