Jeeraka Kanji

There are many types of kanjis made in the time of Ramadan????all makes in different styles??.this is and easy way of jeeraka kanji and tastes good???.



















Ingredients:

1c Basmati rice
4c Water
4 Cloves Garlic
½ tsp Turmeric powder
1c Grated coconut
1c Water
½ tsp Cumin seeds
3 Shallots
Salt


















Method:

1.Boil the rice with water,turmeric powder and slited garlic pods.
2.When the rice is cooked and the water is reduced off the flame.
3.Now grind the coconut,water,jeera seeds and cumin seeda to a medium thick paste.
4.Pour this to the rice mixture and just boil.Add salt as per taste.
5.Serve hot with pickles and papad.
