I've figured out on the days I'm working there aren't enough hours in the day for me to get everything done! I need to take lessons from someone because I feel like as soon as I get home I'm in a huge rush to get about 2 million things done! It's already bed time and I'm just now getting around to posting and I have to clean Chases bed off before he can go lay down because someone (his daddy) let him throw half the stuff out of his toy box today. I just made a batch of apple dumplings and I'm waiting for them to cool enough to cover... I can't wait to share the recipe for those with you because it's my grandma's recipe! You will have to wait on those. Tonight I'm posting the yummy chicken we had for supper last night. I spotted this recipe years ago in a Taste of Home cookbook, but forgot about it until last week when Krista at
Krista's Kitchen posted the recipe as her favorite grilled chicken. I knew immediately I needed to get myself in gear and just made it already! I'm so glad I did. This chicken's so tender and juicy. Chase went wild for it. I took it for lunch today and it was even better the second time around. This is a must try grilled chicken!
KENTUCKY GRILLED CHICKEN
1 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup canola oil
5 tsp Worcestershire sauce
4 tsp hot sauce
2 tsp salt
10 chicken breast- bone-in
Combine first 5 to make marinade. Place 1 cup of marinade into large zip loc bag and add chicken. Swish around to coat chicken and let refrigerate at least 4 hours. Reserve remaining marinade for basting. Spray grill with cooking spray. Cook chicken over indirect heat for 20 minutes. Turn and grill 20-30 more minutes or until juices run clear. Baste occasionally with reserved marinade.
