LINGUINE WITH SNOW PEAS AND TUNA
There are times when the mood to cook hits me. This does not happen very often tho but when it does, I just make do with whatever ingredients happen to be in the refrigerator and pantry. I think I have come up with some ?interesting? dishes. Some may not have been entirely pleasing to the palette; but there are also times when I get the flavors right. This pasta dish is very simple, quick and easy to prepare. I won?t be giving exact measurements and quantities since I usually just play it by ear (or should I say feel/taste). Here?s what I had to work with: about one-third package of linguine, a tiny can of tuna chunks, fresh basil, snow peas, and garlic. So I cooked the linguine al dente. Meanwhile I sautéd the garlic, snow peas and tuna in olive oil. Season to taste with salt and pepper and toss in the cooked linguine. Plate and garnish with some torn basil leaves. Enjoy this simple and light pasta dish. ? M (Mom) Food Photo Details: Nikon D50, Sigma 18-50mm, 1/60, F4.5, Natural Window Lighting - D (Daughter) ![]() ![]() related searches : Linguine
