Nakano Rice Vinegars Review and Giveaway

By A Self-Confessed Foodie (Visit website)

I?ve recently had the opportunity to try Nakano Seasoned Rice Vinegars. I received a bottle of their red pepper vinegar to review! Rice vinegars are interesting because they add a lot of flavor to dishes without adding a ton of calories. Nakano Rice Vinegars are non-fat, gluten free, preservative fee and have 50% less sodium than their competition.

You can use rice vinegar in a huge variety of dishes. I typically use them for Asian dishes. I used the Nakano Red Pepper Rice Vinegar for a dipping sauce to go with pork potstickers or you could try my recipe for Easy Crab Rangoon.

I made potstickers by mixing ground pork, cabbage, ginger, garlic and a little soy sauce together. You can add additional seasonings or ingredients if you like! Buy a package of potsticker wrappers from the grocery store and have fun filling them with your family! Boil or steam them until the meat is fully cooked and serve!

The potsticker wrappers were out of stock so this time I went with wonton wrappers, which I found a little more difficult to work with.

The dipping sauce was so simple! I mixed a bit of sweet soy sauce, regular soy sauce and the Nakano Red Pepper Rice Vinegar. It gave a little bit of heat and a little bit of acid to cut through the richness of the potsticker. It had a great flavor and was perfect with the potstickers.

Win It!

One lucky winner will receive a $25 Visa Gift Card, a bottle of Nakano Seasoned Rice Vinegar to try at home and a booklet with coupons and recipes!
