Raw Cashew Cream Cheese Dip
![]() This dairy and soy free cream cheese is a combination of my cheesecake recipe and about 3 different cashew cream cheese recipes I found on-line. I'm really getting into the raw food revolution and my next raw adventures are to make mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, and alfredo sauce.... Hopefully they are a success! But back to the cream cheese. It is creamy, pairs perfect with fruit or crackers, doesn't have an aftertaste, and has a perfect balance of sweetness and tartness... everything needed for a great dip. I have only used this recipe as a dip so I couldn't tell you if it would work as a 1:1 replacement for cream cheese in other recipes (I imagine it might be a bit sweet), but I'll keep you posted as I experiment. In the picture above I poured apricot preserves over my cream cheese and served it with gluten free crackers - it was a huge hit . But be warned that the cream cheese with the apricots was very sweet. If you don't like super sweet foods, you might want to reduce the agave in the cream cheese when serving with the apricot preserves. Enjoy! Continue To Reciperelated searches : Raw
