Sabudana Vada / Tapioca Fritters / Saggubiyyam vada

Preparation time = 15 mins
Serves = 6
Calories = Approx 40/ Vada

INGREDIENTS-
1 Cup Sabudana/ Tapioca
1 Potato
2-4 Hot peppers (Chopped thin)
1/2 Cup Cilantro (Chopped)
1 Tsp Lemon juice
1 Tbsp Cumin seeds
Salt to taste (Around 2 tsp)
Oil for deep frying

PREPARATION-
1. Soak sabudana for 4 hours. Wash, drain and squeeze out the excess water.
2. Boil the potato just for 5 mins. Peel, grate and add to the sabudana.
3. Heat oil for deep frying around 350* F.
4.Now add cumin seeds, lemon juice, salt, cilantro, hot peppers to the sabudana and mix well.
5. Take lemon size ball and press between palms and add to the hot oil. Fry till golden brown and drain onto a paper towel.

Sabudana vada
Serve with ketchup / hot & sweet sauce and serve warm.
