![]() Ingredients Chopped vegetables (Drum sticks, potatoes, carrots,onion and tomatoes or as your wish) - 3 teacup Toor dal or Sambar dal – 1/4 teacup Sambar powder – 1 1/2 tbsp (I use eastern brand sambar powder) Dried red chilli – 2 Mustard – 1/4 tsp Curry leaves – 2 twigs Tamarind water – To taste Salt – To taste Method Cook dal well in some water. Add vegetables, turmeric powder and salt to it . Once the vegetables are cooked add tamarind water. Allow it to boil. Heat oil,crackle mustard ,add red chillies,curry leaves and sambar powder. Add this to the cooked vegetables. Sever hot with rice. // related searches : Sambar
