- Dry roast all the ingredients in simmer and grind as fine powder.
- Meanwhile take the washed moongdal, masoor dal, chopped bottlegourd pieces, chopped onions.
- Chopped tomatoes, slit opened green chillies in a pressure cooker with enough water and turmeric powder.
- Cook upto 3 whistles and put off the stove, once the steam get released add enough grounded spice powder,salt,garam masala and cook in simmer for few minutes.
- Finally lets splutters the mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves and add immediately the tempered spices to the cooking dals.
