Sambar

Ingredients:
Green Gram Dal - 1 handfulOnion - 3 (chopped)Tomato - 2 (chopped)Potato - 1 (chopped)Carrot - 1 (chopped)Beans - 5 (chopped)Drumstick - 1 (cut ones)Curry leaves - 15Coriander leaves - to garnish
Oil - 1 tbl-spoonMustard - 10Cumin - 20Fennel - 10Asofoetida - 1 pinch




Steps to Prepare:
Take a Cooker, put all the cut vegetables, onion (2 1/2) & add 10 curry leaves, dal ,water, sambar powder, and salt.
Stir it well and cook it for 2-3 whistle and after the pressure has released, open the lid.Take a small pan, add oil, mustard, cumin, fennel, onion (1/2), curry leaves, asofoetida and season it.
Now pour this seasoned content into the cooker.Stir it well and this content into the stove for 5 minutes.
Garnish it with the coriander leaves.Sambar is ready.
This can go well with Idly, Dosa, Pongal, Rice and Aapam.
