The "girly" protein pancake and day 30!!
Day 30:
var addthis_config = {"data_track_clickback":true}; Today I woke up early to go to the gym before studying and they were closed!! They don't open until 8 on Saturdays which was a major bummer. Since I had to get my 30 minutes in this morning because I won't be able to later, I came home and did ball exercises: crunches, pushups, bridges, etc. not quite what I had in mind but it worked. That is 30 days of a new healthy habit!! Wow, I am actually pretty excited to realize that I did it: at least 30 minutes of physical activity a day for the entire month of April. "Obstacles are what we see when we lose sight of our goals." Than it was breakfast time!! I love breakfast, it's probably my favorite meal of the day and today I tried the man's protein pancakes but made them a little differently for me. This makes 4 pancakes which is two servings for me. Breakfast made for tomorrow! Easiest way to pour and measure out pancakes. The boy's. Ingredients: 2 scoops IsoPure vanilla protein powder (these are much smaller scoops than his) 2 tbsp whole wheat flour 2 tbsp oatmeal 2 tbsp flaxseed 1.5 tsp baking powder 3 tsp cinnamon - or a little more...I love cinnamon 2 tsp coconut oil - I only put one because I forgot I was doing double so they turned out a little dry :( 1 whole egg and 1 egg white 1/2 cup almond milk banana and strawberry topping Directions: While pan is heating over medium heat whisk together dry ingredients. Whisk together wet ingredients in separate bowl. Slowly mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients while whisking. Lower heat on pan to about a 3 (of 10) and cook a few minutes on each side. Top with fruit. Enjoy! Happy Saturday - please enjoy it for me since I will be studying property all day :(
