Mayonnaise is our all time favorite sauce to accompany French fries! Let's talk about the viral recipe that you have probably already seen on social media: hard-boiled egg mayonnaise with Greek yogurt. This recipe is lighter and really delicious!
Ingredients for an oil free mayonnaise:
3 eggs
3 tbsp. Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon mustard
1 tablespoon wine vinegar
salt
pepper
Step 1: cook your eggs
Start by boiling a large pot of water. When the water boils, place the eggs in it and let them cook for 10 minutes. After cooking, remove the shell from your hard-boiled eggs.
Remove your eggs from boiling water and place them in ice cold water. They will cool much faster!
And to remove the shell more easily, lightly tap the egg vertically on your work surface. This will make the shell break more easily. Then, use a spoon to separate the shell.
Step 2: let's blend it all
Grab your blender or chopper, put your hard-boiled eggs into it. Add mustard, Greek yogurt, wine vinegar, salt and pepper.
Blend it all until you have a creamy and homogeneous texture.
