- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Place the salt and then the flour in a kneading machine. Make a hole and put the fresh yeast in it (make sure it does not touch the salt!). Add the olive oil and the water, and knead it during 5 minutes.
- Let it rest at room temperature during 1 hour.
- Then, spread the batter into a large and thin batter.
- Add the cooked onions and bacon on the half of the batter letting a border.
- Fold the batter in half and put the borders together.
- You can now do the shape you like.
- Put your batter on a baking sheet and brush an egg wash on it.
- Cut some creases in it. You can make them big so you can see it better after baking it.
- Sprinkle some bacon and cheese on it and let it rest during 20 minutes at room temperature.
- Put it on the oven at 350°F during 20 minutes.
- There you are, your fougasse is ready !
