Improve this french classic with almond cream and travel all the way to Paris !

Ingredients

• 1 pack of 8 to 10 croissants
• 1 stick butter
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 2 eggs
• 3.5 ounces powdered almonds
• 1.5 fl oz hot water
• 3 tablespoons sugar
• flaked almonds

Preparation

• Beat the softened butter in a bowl, then add sugar, eggs and beat.
• Add powdered almonds and mix gently with a spatula
• Cut a croissant in half, then apply some hot water mixed with sugar with a brush. This step will give back his crispness to the croissant.
• Then, put some almond cream and close the croissant.
• Brush some sweetened water on top of it and a thin layer of almond cream.
• Sprinkle some flaked almonds on it
• Bake for 15 minutes at 390°F and there you are !
