70 g plain flour

20 g tapioca flour

2 tablespoons rice flour

2 teaspoon corn flour

130 ml water (approximately)

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon chicken stock granules

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1/4 teaspoon sugar


50 g chopped chives

75 g shelled-prawns, chopped

1 tablespoon chopped red chillies


  • Combine batter ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  • Strain, then add in seasoning and ingredients (B), and mix.
  • Heat a little oil in a non-stick pan.
  • Put in one ladleful of batter and shallow-fry it over low heat until it is cooked on one side.
  • Flip the pancake over and cook until golden.
  • Remove and serve pancakes immediately.
