Soft, chewy and dense cake made with over-ripe bananas


Number of serving: 8
2 cups mashed bananas

3/4 all purpose flour

1 cup salted butter

1/2 cup castor sugar

1 tsp vanilla essence


  • Cream butter and sugar till sugar dissolved and it becomes light yellow mix.

    Add eggs one at a time and continue creaming.

    Fold in flour followed by the mashed bananas.

    Ensure there's no little lumps of flour inside.

    Combine in vanilla essence and pour mixture into a greased pan.

    Bake at 175C for one hour or until bingka is cooked.
