Brookies, the perfect combination of a brownies and a cookie
Why choose between brownies and cookies when you can have both in a dessert?! That's the reason why we made one of our favorite desserts: brookies! You will see, you too will love this crunchy/soft combination. And for even more indulgence, don't hesitate to enjoy this American-style dessert with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top ;-)

- 8x8 inches square pan

Prepare the brownie batter:
Melt chocolate and butter.
Mix eggs and sugar. Add flour and mix well.
Finally add the chocolate and melted butter mixture and incorporate it well. Pour the batter into the greased mold when it is smooth.
Prepare the cookie dough:
Whisk soft butter with brown sugar. Add the egg and mix well.
Add flour and baking powder and incorporate them well into the dough before adding the chocolate chips.
Mix everything and spread the dough in the mold, on top of the brownie batter.
Bake for 30 min at 350°F (180°C).
And there you are, your brookies is ready! Serve it with a scoop of ice cream, it will be even better!

Yes it's possible, freeze it once cooked!

Yes, you can replace it with the same amount of baking soda.
