Cherry lattice pie

Only 4 ingredients to bake this classic pie!

2 puff pastry sheets

1 lb pitted cherries

2 Tbsp corn starch

1/4 cup sugar

1/2 lemon juice

1 egg


11 inches pie pan


  • Step 1 - Cherry lattice pie
    Mix the cherries with the sugar, the corn starch and the lemon juice.
  • Step 2 - Cherry lattice pie
    Line the mold with a puff pastry sheet, and sting if with a fork. Pour the cherries in it, and smooth the top.
  • Step 3 - Cherry lattice pie
    Unroll the other pastry sheet, and cut strips 1 inch wide in it.
  • Step 4 - Cherry lattice pie
    Put 4 strips on the cherries, and lift 2 of them as shown on the picture. Put another strip the other way, and put bach the 2 strips on it.
  • Step 5 - Cherry lattice pie
    Repeat the operation until you form the desired pattern (see video for more details).
  • Step 6 - Cherry lattice pie
    Brush with the beaten egg, and bake 40 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
  • Step 7 - Cherry lattice pie
    There you are, your cherry lattice pie is ready!
