Unfailing chocolate marquise

Preparation
Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water. In a bowl, combine the eggs and sugar, and whisk at high speed for 5 to 10 minutes, until they have doubled in volume.
Melt the chocolate with the butter. Add the well-drained gelatin to the warm mixture and stir until it is completely dissolved.
Pour the chocolate into the whipped eggs, and gently mix until you achieve a smooth mixture.
Line your cake mold with plastic wrap, and pour the mixture into it. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
Gently unmold the marquise onto a serving plate and sprinkle with almond flakes.
And there you have it, your chocolate marquise is ready!
Observations
Presentation: usually made in a cake mold, you can also have fun giving your marquise other shapes. For example, present it individually so that everyone has their piece of cake ;-)
