French chouquettes

French chouquettes are choux with some sugar pearls on top ! A light snack you'll love to eat with your coffee or tea !

- In a pot, put the water to heat with the butter and the salt. When the butter has melted, add the flour and stir until the dough comes off the pot.
- Take out of the heat, and add the eggs, one by one, stiring each time.
- With a piping bag, or spoons, form the choux, making a ball. Beat the egg and brush the choux with it.
- Sprinkle with sugar pearls.
- Bake 20 min at 350°F (180°C). Switch off the oven and remove the chouquettes after 10 minutes.
- Leave to cool down completely and there you are ! Chouquettes are ready !
Observations
Do not hesitate to fill the chouquettes with a chocolate ganache or whipped cream ;-)
