Who says you can't make crèmes brûlées without an oven? You can totally do without! Discover our new recipe for crèmes brûlées with Air fryer! - Pour the milk and cream into a saucepan and bring to the boil.
- While the milk + cream mixture is heating, add the egg yolks, sugar and vanilla flavoring to a bowl. Whisk together.
- Add the milk + cream mixture to the bowl, along with the eggs and sugar. Mix well.
- Once the cream is ready, pour into ramekins.
- After filling the ramekins, place them in a dish that fits into the Air fryer.
Pour half the water into the dish, to create a water bath. - Place the dish in the Air fryer. Close the tray and program the machine to bake at 300°F/150°C. Bake for 50min.
- Remove the creams from the Air fryer, remove from the water bath and leave to cool for a few minutes at room temperature.
- Then place the creams in the fridge for at least 3 hours.
- Remove the creams from the fridge and sprinkle with brown sugar. Caramelize the surface with a blowtorch.
- Wait a few minutes for the caramel to solidify, and it's ready! Enjoy your meal!

Can we prepare these creams in the oven if we don't have an air fryer?
Of course you can! The principle is exactly the same. Follow our classic oven bake crème brûlée recipe!
How long can you keep these crèmes brûlées?
Crèmes brûlées are best eaten soon after making. However, you can store them in the fridge for 2 to 3 days.
What if we don't have a blowtorch?
You can use a fire starter to obtain the caramel.
