Chop of end of stalk. Peel off any brown areas on stalk, and remove any bruised petals. Rinse.
Cut stalk into half or about 3 inches, and chop the flower bud into two about 3cm in length.
Put the cut Ginger Flower Buds in pot of water and bring to boil. Continue to simmer for about 40 minutes to reduce water to 1 mug.
Turn off heat and let it cool. Use a strainer to filter the flowers. To avoid wastage, you may wanna squeeze out the extra juices from the residue.
