Homemade flavored water with cucumber, lime, mint and ginger
Fresh and purifying, this flavored water will become a must for hot days this summer! To prepare it, nothing easier, we used 4 ingredients that you can easily find: cucumber, lime, mint and ginger. You can serve it at any time of the day, and even take it with you to the beach in an insulated bottle! Flavored water offers many benefits: cucumber is particularly rich in vitamins and has antioxidant properties, ginger is known to have anti-inflammatory properties, and lime is rich in citric acid which helps digestion. In short, you can quench your thirst all day while treating your body! :-)

Preparation
- Carefully wash the cucumber and lime under running water and cut them into slices.
- Peel the ginger (you can use a teaspoon, it works very well!) and cut it into thin strips.
- Put everything in the jar and add the water. Then add the mint leaves, mix and let the flavored water sit in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours (ideally, leave it overnight so that the water soaks up the aromas sufficiently).
- And There you go ! Your water flavored with cucumber, mint, lime and ginger is ready!
Observations
How long can I keep the flavored water?
Maximum 3 days in the refrigerator in an airtight container or in a pitcher with a lid.
What can I substitute for the lime?
To prepare this flavored water, you can also use lemon or another citrus fruit such as grapefruit for example!
Can I use sparkling water?
Of course! But consume it within 24 hours of preparation, otherwise it may lose its bubbles.
How to serve flavored water?
You can serve it in glasses with ice (or without) by adding a few slices of cucumber and lime that you used for the cold infusion.
