A monstrously cute burger for your Halloween meal! Kids are sure to love it ;-) Black bread colored with squid ink, olive eyes, cheese teeth, and more! The teeth: cut the cheddar to form the teeth. Keep both parts.
The eyes: with a toothpick, insert a slice of pepper into the black olive, then fold the other part inside. Stick the toothpick into the side of the olive and do the same with the second eye.
The mouth: cook the ground beef patty for about 4 minutes on each side. Cut the tomato into slices.
The body: cut the bun in half, grill the inside for 2 minutes in a hot pan. Spread 2 tbsp of tomato sauce on the base, and 1 tbsp inside the top part.
The assembly: place the base of the bun with the tomato sauce on a plate. Add some salad leaves to form tentacles. Add the smaller piece of cheddar for the jaw.
Place the cooked steak on top, then the tomato slice. Add the larger slice of cheddar, then the top of the bun. Stick the olive eyes on top.
Observations
Olives: You can use green olives.
Cheese: You can use the burger cheese slice of your choice.
Squid ink buns: We made homemade buns, but you can use traditional burger buns.
