- Grind ingredients from 3 to 5 to a fine paste. 2. Mix with cooked dal, adding enough water and bring to boil.
- Add salt, turmeric powder, green chilly and red chilly powder and keep over medium fire for one more minute .
- Heat coconut oil in a pan , add murinayila and saute for a minute and add to the cooked gravy.
- Remove from fire. Fry mustard , red chilly curry leaves and add 1 teaspoon coconut and fry till brown .
- Add this to the gravy. Serve hot with rice or rotis.
